Monica began her career in Sept. of 1993 with Dean Witter. She continued to serve this large corporation for close to 20 years as it changed names and leadership. The strong corporate background has allowed her to build lifelong relationships with her clients that continue to this day.
Independence Square means more than providing her clients with investment advice. It means helping them maintain the financial independence they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve. It means striving to ensure they have the means to pursue what’s most important to them; and understanding them as people with unique goals, values, and circumstances. These individualized objectives help determine the strategies she develops on their behalf.
Monica has used her talents to serve on several boards of local charitable organizations. Her most rewarding experience was serving as the Chair of the Myositis Awareness Charity Event. Her family has raised over $1,000,000 for this organization that has helped her son, who has battled this disease his entire life. It is through her community involvement that she can give back to the people that have supported her and her family through the years.
Monica has also served as a Golf Coach for almost 20 years. She is currently the Head Golf Coach at The Shipley School. Coaching alongside her husband, Brian Rogers, she couples the love of golf with her love of coaching.
Giving back to her community and sharing her talents, both professionally and socially, provides the greatest balance in her life.
