Monica began her career in Sept. of 1993 with Dean Witter. She was able to continue to serve this large corporation for close to 20 years as it changed names and leadership. The strong corporate background has allowed her to build lifelong relationships with her clients that still continue today.
Independence Square means more than providing her clients with investment advice. It means helping them maintain the financial independence they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve. It means striving to ensure they have the means to pursue what’s most important to them. And it means understanding them as people with unique goals, values and circumstances that determine the strategies she develops on their behalf.
Monica currently serves on several boards of local charitable organizations. Her most rewarding experience is serving as the Chair of the Myositis Awareness Charity Event. Her family has raised close to $1,000,000 for this organization that has helped her son who has battled this disease his entire life. Monica has also served as a Golf Coach for over 15 years. She is currently the Head Golf Coach at The Shipley School. In addition to serving as fundraising chair for both the Mother of Divine Providence Church and the MDP CYO Organization, she chairs the very successful Community Carnival at MDP. It is through her community involvement that she can give back to the people that have supported her and her family through the years.
